La playlist di Natale ’03 può essere ricordata, oltre che per la musica, anche per la sua copertina, la prima esplicitamente natalizia e stampata tramite iTunes.
L’apertura è in grande stile, il brano Proof di I Am Kloot è roba che mi emoziona sempre e la voce di Joe Strummer non è certo da meno.
E poi c’è quella strepitosa cover di I Will Survive dei Cake, veramente stupenda, uno dei miei brani preferiti di sempre.
La playlist si mantiene a buon livello fino alla fine, passando da Neil Young a Cat Stevens, da Alanis Morissette a Bruce Springsteen fino a chiudere con World Party e Prefab Sprout per poi passare all’altrettanto bello lato B Happy New Year.
